These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the services provided by East Palatka Movers (“we,” “us,” “our”) to you, the customer (“you,” “your”). By booking or using our services, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our services.

2. Services Provided

East Palatka Movers offers a variety of moving services, including local moving, long-distance moving, commercial moving, residential moving, and moving and storage. All services are provided in accordance with the terms outlined in this agreement.

3. Service Agreement

When you schedule a move with us, you enter into a binding agreement that includes the following conditions:

• Booking: To confirm your move, you must provide relevant details such as moving date, address, and any specific requirements. A written or verbal agreement constitutes a reservation.
• Cancellation: If you need to cancel or reschedule your move, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee.
• Liability: We are not responsible for damage to items that were improperly packed, or for items that are not disclosed at the time of the booking.

4. Payment

• Rates: The cost of your move is based on several factors, including the size of your move, distance, and additional services requested. A written estimate will be provided, and you will be billed according to that estimate or actual charges, whichever is higher.
• Deposit: A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your moving date, with the balance due upon completion of the move.
• Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit card, debit card, check, or cash.
• Overtime: If the move exceeds the estimated time, additional charges will apply.

5. Customer Responsibilities

• Packing: You are responsible for packing your belongings, unless you have opted for our packing services. We are not responsible for any damages resulting from improper packing by you.
• Access: You must provide us with adequate access to your property (i.e., parking spaces, elevators, or ramps) to ensure the safe loading and unloading of your belongings.
• Items Not Transported: We are not responsible for moving hazardous materials, perishable goods, or any items prohibited by law.

6. Liability and Insurance

• Liability: Our liability for damages to your property is limited to the terms of our insurance policy. We offer basic liability coverage; however, additional coverage options may be available. Please inquire at the time of booking.
• Claims: Any claims for damages must be filed within 48 hours of the move’s completion. We will investigate and resolve the claim in a timely manner.

7. Moving and Storage

If you choose to use our moving and storage services, the following terms apply:

• Storage Duration: We offer short-term and long-term storage options. Charges for storage are separate from moving fees and will be based on the size of the storage unit and the duration of storage.
• Access to Stored Items: You may request access to your stored items during business hours, and additional charges may apply for retrieval.

8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any delays or failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond our control, including, but not limited to, weather conditions, natural disasters, or governmental regulations.

9. Changes to Terms

East Palatka Movers reserves the right to update and modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you, and the updated terms will take effect immediately upon being posted to our website.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Florida. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Florida.
